South Asian agriculture is constrained with small scale farms, lack of access to inputs, weak mechanization and infrastructure development, limited technology advancement, less competitiveness, weaker inter-country connectivity, and extreme climate change effects. Combined efforts from the SAARC Member States is crucial to address these common issues and challenges through formulating and adopting common policies and programs.
