The global population is expected to be around 8.0 billion by 2025. The ageing rural population, better opportunities outside agriculture, and declining natural resources are posing some serious concerns today as to who will feed the world tomorrow? Under such circumstances, concerns are also raised as to how will we meet the targets of sustainable development goals (SDGs)? In this context, the role of youth (both male and female) in accelerating agricultural growth cannot be underestimated.
