Outdoor group activity on Impact Pathway Development

Capacity Development Workshop on “Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation towards Measuring Outcomes and Impacts” was jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions (APAARI), Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) and Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) at MARDI Training Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 3-7 August 2015.

The aim of the workshop was to provide participants with a shared understanding of frameworks and processes for developing and implementing project evaluation for agricultural research projects. The framework and tools presented were designed to assist project teams in project design and implementation.

A total of 35 participants attended the workshop which included 31 professionals who are involved in orientating, planning and evaluating agricultural R&D projects from 18 different countries in the Asia Pacific region; and 4 resource persons from the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR).
