Agricultural innovation is a precondition for meeting the challenge of feeding the world’s growing population in the face of climate change and degradation of natural resources. It is also fundamental to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of ending poverty and hunger, achieving improved food security and nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture.
