Workshop on Coherence in Information for Agricultural Research for Development (CIARD) and Strengthening RAIS in the SAARC Countries, 10-12 May 2011 – Proceedings

The workshop was jointly organized by APAARI, SAARC Agriculture Centre (SAC), GFAR, FAO and Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council(BARC) at Dhaka, Bangladesh from 10-12 May, 2011. Thirty two ICM experts from SAARC member states viz., Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Iran (observer) attended the workshop to share country experiences.

The proceedings synthesize workshop deliberations, outcome of group works and recommendations for strengthening agricultural information systems in the SAARC member countries and improving their participation in CIARD initiative for effective sharing of information and knowledge at national regional and global levels.
