During his visit to Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Science (VAAS), Dr. Paroda, Executive Secretary of APAARI, along with Dr. Nguyen Van Bo, President, VAAS Called on Dr Cao Duc Phat, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and apprised him of various activities of APAARI. He was also briefed about the forth coming Asian Maize Conference and General Assembly meeting (GAM) of APAARI to be held in Bangkok from 30 Oct.-1 Nov., 2014.  Dr. Paroda also thanked him for the award of medal given last year in recognition of long association of Dr. Paroda with VAAS.
