The Global Confederation of Higher Education Associations for Agricultural and Life Sciences (GCHERA) – APAARI’s member and partner in agricultural education – has just announced its call for nomination for the prestigious GCHERA World Agriculture Prize 2021. It is a very important Award, which is gaining in recognition and prestige around the world. The Prize is offered with support of Nanjing Agricultural University (NJAU), China, to academicians for outstanding lifetime achievement. It aims to encourage the global development of higher education institutions in education, research, and innovation in agricultural and life sciences, by recognizing the distinguished contribution of an individual to this mission.
Two prizes of USD 100,000 will be awarded this year to outstanding scientists. At least one prize will be awarded to a person coming from a country not classified as having a developed economy.
