The Medium Term Cooperation Programme with Farmer Organisations in Asia and the Pacific Phase 2 (MTCP2) aimed to support poverty reduction through strengthening the capacity of farmer and their organisations. The programme had four components:
- Strengthen farmer organisations and their networks
- Support participation of farmer organisations in policy process
- Farmer organization services and involvement in agriculture development programs
- Programme management and coordination
The publication is about the stories of farmers and farmer organisations in the Pacific and with a glimpse of some of the impacts of a five-year funding programme in 2014 to 2018. A reflection of common stories in farmer organisations across the region and how the five years of capacity building has made a huge transformation into their lives. Download HERE
