The ICRISAT’s Center of Excellence (CoE) in Genomics (CEG, http://ceg.icrisat.org/) as a part of Critical Focus area-Molecular Breeding is organizing the 5th International Conference on Next Generation Genomics and Integrated Breeding (NGGIBCI-2015) for Crop Improvement at ICRISAT Campus, Greater Hyderabad, India on February 18-20, 2015.

This Conference is being organized in continuation of the earlier four meetings/workshops on NGS data analysis (http://ceg.icrisat.org/1-ngs.htm; http://ceg.icrisat.org/2-ngs.htm; http://ceg.icrisat.org/3-ngs.htm and http://www.icrisat.org/gt-bt/NGGIBCI/home.htm). Better communication and sharing of the ideas among scientists and stakeholders is the key to achieve the goal of global food security. This conference will provide a platform for scientists to interact with each other and present their work and discuss different aspects of modern genomics and breeding for crop improvement.

Speakers

Eminent speakers in the fields of genetics, genomics, breeding and allied sciences will be invited. A poster session will also be arranged to encourage participation of young researchers in the conference.
