The 49th Annual National Conference of Nutrition Society of India (NSI) will be held at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam from November 2 to 4, 2017. The Conference being organized by the Department of Food Science & Nutrition of the University has the theme”Biodiversity, Traditional Food Systems and Wellness: Connecting Global Priorities”, in the interest of public health and work towards promoting sustainable ecosystem , use of traditional knowledge for promotion of health. The Conference will provide a shared platform for academia, scientists, researchers, medical practitioners, therapists, dieticians, public health professionals, biomedical practitioners, industries, policy makers and students facilitating global movement and new dimensions for a wider scope of study and practice.
